Marie Rippingale Dip HE CVN, DipAVN(Equine), REVN, obtained a first class honours degree in equine sports science in 2005. She has worked in equine clinical practice since 2003, and qualified as a registered equine veterinary nurse with merit in 2007. In 2012, Marie completed a Diploma Higher Education Clinical Veterinary Nursing qualification and obtained an RCVS Diploma in Advanced Veterinary Nursing in equine context, with distinction. She has been lecturing on the veterinary nursing diploma course since 2010 at Bottle Green Training in Melbourne, Derbyshire.
Marie enjoys volunteering, and has been to Africa twice to work at the Gambia Horse and Donkey Trust. Marie's special interests including bandaging and wound care, radiography, anaesthesia, IV catheter care, foal nursing and the care of working equids abroad.
