Kirsty qualified as an RVN in 1991, after studying for her nursing exams at the University of Bristol School of Veterinary Sciences. She has worked in small, mixed and zoo-based roles, and also regularly lectures.
Kirsty worked for PDSA in Plymouth for more than 10 years, and has always had a particular interest in the nursing of senior patients and rehabilitation. In 2017, she graduated from The Open University with a degree in natural sciences and this year completed a diploma in Galen canine myotherapy.
Kirsty is a charge nurse at Vets Direct and network coordinator (volunteer) for Canine Arthritis Management.
