James Westgate graduated from Greenwich University in 1997 with a 2:1 in literature and, after testing the water in a number of different jobs, made his first tentative steps into journalism six years later.
After working as a reporter for the Coalville Times, Stamford Mercury and Peterborough Evening Telegraph James found his niche with Veterinary Business Development in 2012. Starting as a reporter on Veterinary Times, he is now the editor of VBJ, but maintains a watching brief on all aspects of the profession as news editor for Veterinary Times.
