The aim of the course is to disucss all aspects of reptile management and to provide the clinicial with information so they can confidently approach reptile cases in practice.
During the course we will discuss identification; husbandry and handling; critical care and emergency treatments; basic diagnostic approaches; common diseases and treatment option; surgery in a number of species of reptiles focusing on the most common animals seen in practice.

  • How to diagnose common conditions
  • Understand what emergency and supportive care can be given
  • How to perform analgesia and anaesthesia
