Sound phobia is the most common behavioural problem affecting dogs in the UK. This series will introduce a new approach to the diagnosis, management and treatment of sound sensitivity in dogs. This includes a simple online tool for the automatic assessment of cases, which provides clear indications of the type of treatment required, and can then be used to assess therapeutic response. Included in this series will be a fully integrated set of support materials for clinicians and clients.

Topics to be covered include:

  • Assessment of sound sensitivity in dogs
  • New evidence on the management of sound sensitive dogs
  • Treatment with drugs, supplements and behavioural methods
