This evening session will look at aspects of dealing with patients with respiratory issues from initial assessment and thoracic auscultation, to dealing with common emergency presentations such as laryngeal paralysis, and pleural space disease, to planning anaesthesia for respiratory patients.      

Learning objectives:

  • Identify respiratory emergencies and perform thoracic auscultation
  • Stabilising respiratory patients
  • Anaesthesia of respiratory cases and respiratory monitoring
