About the course

Ever looked at an ultrasound and mistakenly thought you were driving over the Cairngorms in winter? Then this is the course for you.

Join us for a day of learning and fun as we review methods for interpreting ultrasound images. There will be two lectures covering topics that will include:

  • Use of Ultrasound in first opinion practice ‘FAST’ scans, Abdominal scans
  • Tips for obtaining diagnostic quality studies
  • The most common problems people have
  • The chance to bring your own machine along.

In the practical session you will have the opportunity to try out the basic techniques discussed in the lecture. The course facilitator will be available to answer individual questions during this time.
