About the course

This one-day workshop will focus on the practical diagnosis of cardiology and respiratory cases.

A series of interactive case discussions, from the straight-forward to the complex, will highlight the diagnostic challenges presented to veterinarians when dealing with these cases. Case discussions will be based around the interpretation of thoracic radiographs, but will also focus on all the diagnostic and investigative techniques available and how to make your diagnosis and manage the case.

Practical sessions examining and interpreting thoracic radiographs in both respiratory and cardiac cases will help you develop a systematic approach to their interpretation and both confidence and competence when using radiography in your practice.

This workshop is suitable for vets in first opinion practice wishing to refresh and improve their skills in diagnosing cardiorespiratory cases and would be of particular interest to those working towards an RCVS CertAVP in Medicine or Cardiology.

Speaker: Hannah Stephenson BVMS (Hons) CertSAM Dip ECVIM-CA (Cardiology) MRCVS
