Forum overview:
Find out the latest information on basic echocardiography and collapse in the dog, with an update on interventional Cardiology surgery.

This exciting forum will cover:
• Evaluating the common causes of collapse in dogs
  - A cased based approach using a number of movies of collapsing dogs
  - Distinguishing between syncope and non-syncopal causes of collapse
 

• Echo basics
  - Using a variety of cases, this talk will cover interpretation, what’s normal and how to manage patients based on echo diagnoses
  - Distinguishing MVD versus DCM
  - How to assess for risk of aortic thromboembolism
  - Looking for clues on 2D imaging for congenital heart disease

• An update on interventional Cardiology surgery including:
  - Pacemaker implantation
  - Pulmonic Stenosis
  - PDA


Evening CPD Forum schedule:

The evening will begin with light refreshments at 7.30pm followed by lectures which begin at 8.00pm - which should last approximately one and a half hours.

Certificates of Attendance will be issued for your CPD records.

Discussion and questions are welcomed during the forum.
