About the course

This online lecture takes a detailed look at nutritional support of the hospitalised patient.  Looking at both canine and feline patients, the lecture goes through different ways of enabling nutritional support and how to manage patients needing nutritional support, such as with regard to hygiene and complications that may occur.

Learning Outcomes

  • Knowledge of different feeding tube types and when to use them.
  • Confidence in providing nursing care for patients needing nutritional support through feeding tubes.
