About the course

This day will focus on emergency practical techniques and will allow delegates the opportunity to gain ‘hands on’ experience in a variety of emergency procedures including placement of central venous catheters, nasal oxygen catheters, chest drains, so when these devices are placed in real life, delegates will have more confidence in how the procedure will be performed. Analgesia and pain scoring in emergency patient will also be discussed. The day will also include maintenance of these devices along with tracheostomy tubes as well as a practical CPR session.
