About the course

Do you want to get started with arthroscopy? If so then this is the practical course for you. It’s specifically designed for complete beginners to arthroscopy and no previous experience is necessary. We’ll discuss the role of arthroscopy in management of orthopaedic disease focussing on disease of the elbow.  Over the day you’ll be introduced to the equipment used in arthroscopy and there will be practical sessions to help you gain familiarity with it. We’ll finish with a wet lab practical session to introduce you to arthroscopy of the elbow joint.

  • Indications for arthroscopy in veterinary orthopaedics
  • Contra-indications and difficulties encountered with arthroscopy and how to deal with them
