About the course

This course is a practical revision day designed for student veterinary nurses to assist in the preparation for the Level 3 Diploma Veterinary Nursing Practical Examinations.

Candidates will have access to a variety of OSCE stations covering a broad range of tasks from laboratory, diagnostic imaging, nursing care, anaesthesia and theatre practice.

You will be required to work in small groups, with each group having an experienced coach who will provide instruction regarding each task; following this you will have the opportunity to practice each station.

Gloves and gowns will be provided, however, if you have a latex allergy, it would be advisable to bring your own preferred equipment to use.

Uniforms are not required, however, you will be working within a clinical skills area, and therefore it is advisable to dress accordingly. Protective overcoats will be provided.
