This two day CPD programme offers small group learning with a strong practical component, delivered by vets with years of experience. 

The course is for any small animal vet who is interested in developing their knowledge and skills in the treatment of orthopaedic conditions.

Objectives of the programme:

  • To become competent in the diagnosis of cruciate disease
  • Give delegates the confidence to recommend the most appropriate treatment choice
  • To equip delegates with the practical skills to perform cruciate surgery in practice

Briefly the course comprises of a review of cruciate disease, discussion of treatment options and postoperative care and long-term management. 

Day one - Wet-lab practical session for stifle arthrotomy and lateral fabello-tibial prosthesis

Day two - Wet-lab practical session for TTA surgery
