About the course

This two day course is run by Frances Harcourt-Brown and her husband Nigel.  They have run many similar workshops in UK and abroad. This is the last year they will run it in UK.

The first day is devoted to lectures about the surgical procedures that are commonly performed on rabbits ( e.g ear surgery, tooth extraction, neutering). The pitfalls and complications of surgery will be discussed. The second day involves dissecting cadavers to see the relevant  anatomy and carry out surgical techniques. Each delegate has their own cadaver and a workbook is provided that illustrates the anatomy and covers many surgical procedures. The workbook allows delegates to work at their own pace.  Places on this surgical course are limited to twenty.
