About the course

In this workshop we will discuss the indications for performing exploratory coeliotomy in the dog and cat with case-based discussion to help your understanding of the decision making process.

We will discuss the techniques of enterotomy, enterectomy and gastrotomy and how to recognise and manage postoperative complications. We will also cover gastric dilation and volvulus with a hands-on practical session on performing gastropexy.
