About the course

This course includes lectures on the assessment of dogs with chronic or recurrent ear disease and how to perform a total ear canal ablation and lateral bulla osteotomy (TECA/LBO) in suitable surgical candidates. The potential postoperative complications of TECA/LBO and how to manage them will also be included. In the afternoon there is a  practical session in which all delegates will have the opportunity to perform a TECA/LBO.

This workshop is suitable for vets in first opinion practice wishing to improve their skills when dealing with soft-tissue surgery and would be of particular interest to those working towards an RCVS CertAVP in Surgery.
