About the course

This course will review the diagnosis and treatment of oral tumors in dogs and cats. CT-scan, biopsy of the oral cavity and lymph nodes, treatment of tumours of the tongue, lip, cheek, salivary glands and palate as well as variations in mandibulectomy and maxillectomy procedures. Theory: • Overview of OMF tumors in dogs and cats • Work-up of OMF tumors in dogs and cats • Resection of tongue, lip, cheek, salivary glands and lymph nodes • Techniques in mandibulectomy procedures • Techniques in maxillectomy procedures Practical: • Resection of tongue, lip, cheek, salivary glands and lymph nodes • Techniques in mandibulectomy procedures • Techniques in maxillectomy procedures
