Course Description

 Do you wish you could manage simple fractures but lack the confidence to do so? This workshop will help guide you through the theory and practical aspects of using plates and screws to repair the more commonly encountered fractures in small animal practice.

The practical component of this course will allow you to put into practice the theoretical knowledge gained from the lectures. The course is designed to simplify the basics of plate and screw fixation and ensure that delegates are confident in its usage.

In the practical sessions you will be taught how to apply plates to:

  • Lateral aspect of the femur
  • Medial aspect of the tibia
  • Cranial aspect of the radius
