About the course

For many pets, particularly dogs and cats, visiting the veterinary clinic can cause a lot of anxiety – and that can make your job as a veterinary nurse very challenging! Howling, scratching, and cowering in the crate… does this sound familiar? In this half day course, Elaine Henley (respected Animal Behaviourist), will instruct and guide you on ways to gently and creatively handle these situations. This course also aims to assist animal caregivers in preparing their pets and owners for both the journey and visit to practice.
