About the course

This course is designed for both student and qualified veterinary nurses wishing to expand their knowledge of endocrinopathies commonly affecting domestic dogs and cats.

The course will deliver current information on a wide range of conditions seen in practice and will discuss for each:

·         Aetiology and signalment

·         Clinical signs

·         Specific diagnostic tests available and how to interpret these

·         Treatments available and specific nursing considerations in relation to each disease

·         Relationship between endocrinopathies and hypertension/obesity

·         Dietary requirements
