About the course

Ear disease contributes hugely to the caseload of small animal general practice. There is controversy over the best treatment for aural haematoma. Otitis externa can be painful and debilitating; aggressive and prolonged medical management can resolve a number of cases, but treatment failure or poor owner compliance can lead to debilitating and painful conditions. Surgical management can have a dramatic effect on patient and owner quality of life.

This course will instruct in the practical approach to these procedures and the decision making in when to choose them.
