About the course

This one day course is aimed at first opinion Vets and Nurses who would like to become more 'hands on' with wound management.

The lectures are designed to give delegates a better understanding of the physiology of wound healing, the factors that contribute to healing delay and the role of wound dressings.

Practical sessions will focus on honing the skills that will be can be used in every day practice to make a positive difference to healing outcomes. From suturing techniques to avoid tension, to drain placement and bandaging techniques led by two of our own Veterinary Wound Library Bandaging Angels.

The course is organised by the Veterinary Wound Library and kindly hosted by Liphook Equine Hospital, one of the UK's largest specialist veterinary hospitals in the UK.

We are very grateful to our sponsors Millpledge Veterinary and Direct Medical Supplies who will be exhibiting their latest products and special offers at this event.

Places are limited to 30 delegates.
