About the course

This comprehensive and stimulating 18 module Postgraduate Certificate (PgC) programme has been designed, in conjunction with Dr Veronica Roberts European and RCVS Specialist in Equine Internal Medicine, to provide the equine practitioner with a thorough update of current thinking in equine medicine. This programme will help you consolidate your knowledge of equine medicine and enable you to develop an informed clinical approach to the equine patient.

The emphasis of this programme is very much on the approach to different conditions – practical examination techniques, application of appropriate diagnostic procedures and an understanding of the potential complications associated with different body systems, rather than an exhaustive list of potential disorders.

This programme enables you to achieve a General Practitioner Certificate (GPCert) accredited by ESVPS and is currently pending validation with Harper Adams University as a route to a Postgraduate Certificate.

All delegates will receive:

  • A subscription to Harper Adam’s online e-library providing access to 1,000s of scientific articles and abstracts
  • Our online learning management system: Moodle – Provides access to course notes, discussion forums and other study resources

A dedicated Programme Tutor will support you during your programme to ensure a rewarding and successful learning journey.
