About the course

Dogs and cats are living longer but old age comes to us all. Geriatric patients are commonly seen in first opinion practice and with advances in both the diagnosis and therapeutics for geriatric conditions, client expectations of how we nurse and treat their pets are increasing. This day CPD will cover nursing a number of different commonly presented conditions such as congestive heart failure, feline hyperthyroidism, hypertension and vestibular disease. Specific tops such as anesthetizing geriatrics and running geriatric clinics with also be discussed. Disciplines covered will include anesthesia, orthopedics, cardiology, neurology and internal medicine.

Speakers are still to be confirmed.
