Learn how to read various signals, sort out the meanings and use Canine Body Language in your everyday interactions with your dog and enhance your training. This two day event will cover:

Body orientation
Nose orientation
Eyes & eye positions
Learn how to identify:

Expressions of an Emotional State
Calming & Negotiation Signals
Neutral & Friendly Signals
Space Invaders - the language of territory, aggression, warning and guarding
Through a number of still shots and video of a variety of dog conversations both dog/dog and dog/human, the following topics will be addressed:

Body Language: Why Should I care!
Body Language as Feedback in Training
How to read Body Language when you are introducing dogs to each other
Where should I interrupt risky behaviour to prevent or curtail reactivity
Puppy Temperament Testing
Reading body language in puppies from neonatal to 12 weeks of age
The role of Neurotransmitters in Dog Behavior

Dates and Locations: 

Schedule 1: 

Friday 15th and Saturday 16th June 2018 - 9:30 registration for 10am start. 5pm finish at Basildon Village Hall & Recreation Ground, Bethesda Street, Upper Basildon, Near Reading, RG8 8NU

Schedule 2: 

Monday 18th and Tuesday 19th June 2018 - 9:30 registration for 10am start. 5pm finish at Britannia Hotel Wigan Almond Brook Road Standish Wigan WN6 0SR

Schedule 3: 

Thursday 21st and Friday 22nd June 2018 - 9:30 registration for 10am start. 5pm finish at Fowlmere Village Hall, Chrishall Rd, Fowlmere, Royston SG8 7RY

An optional sandwich buffet lunch is available at £7 per person, payable on the day. We need to book in advance so please let us know at least 2 weeks before the event.
