About the course

A one day course aimed at all levels of practitioners and for those wanting a more in depth understanding of how to integrate parasitology into herd health planning.

During the course of this one-day CPD session, we will, as previously, cover important and practical aspects of the common helminth and arthropod parasites of cattle, but, given the time of year, we will particularly focus on the current grazing season – where we are now and what can we expect/do between mid-grazing season and housing. We will look at options for control of PGE through grazing management, particularly the use of silage/hay aftermaths and also mixed/sequential grazing with sheep. In addition we will look ahead and discuss the rationale and options for housing treatments.
