The course will provide you with the most up-to-date science based information regarding emergency care, allowing you to build your confidence in dealing with emergency situations.
The course will cover a variety of emergency situations, including bandaging (with the opportunity for a practical session of bandage application), CPCR (with the opportunity for a practical session on a specially designed resusci-dog), toxicities, trauma, shock and various medical emergencies. We will also cover normal vital signs so you will be more aware of any abnormalities of animals under your care.
The course is not designed to be a substitute for professional veterinary advice, which should always be sought should you have any concerns.
