Locoregional Techniques: What are your Options in Small Animal Practice

Provided by

About the course

This course will deal with the basic principles and practical applications of locoregional anaesthetic techniques in small animal anaesthesia, focusing on techniques that can be safely performed outside the referral setting.  The cost-benefit of more advanced techniques, for example, use of peripheral nerve stimulators and ultrasound, will also be discussed.  The course will focus on the patient and the procedure performed rather than the techniques themselves, with the aim of maximising learning opportunities for the delegate.

Course tutors:  Frederico Corleto and Maja Drozdzynska
